Port Coquitlam is the perfect venue to host the 2018 Corporate Challenge. With five years of proven races to build on, the 2017 PoCo Grand Prix event was one for the books. Open to all cyclists who want to experience being a professional rider for a day, registered teams receive four entries to not just challenge others out on the course, but get to experience the exclusive VIP Tent with sponsors and race supporters, while watching the men’s and women’s professional races later that evening. Three divisions are available: Competitive, Recreational and Women’s Only. We look forward to hosting you this 2018 year!

Time Trial: All four members of the team start the race at their designated release time. A total of 8 laps are completed. On lap six, the fourth rider is dropped, on lap seven the third rider is dropped and on the final lap, the two remaining riders must cross the finish line together to stop their time.
Time: 5-5:45 pm (exact times may be adjusted)
Teams of FOUR. Relay format. Four laps per rider.
Time: 4:15-5 pm (exact times may be adjusted)
• Each team is required to submit a predicted team time prior to the race starting.
• Teams place themselves into 1,2,3,4 positions. Rider one from each team will start the race. Riders 2,3 and 4 are held in the corral area to be released once the rider before completes his or her required number of laps.
• Teams determine a predicted team time prior to the race beginning and will be scored over/under this time to be crowned champions. The team that is closest to their predicted team time will win.
Competes in and uses same format at Recreational Division.

Teams: Four riders per team. Timing chips will be used to record lap times. Team awards will be presented on the main stage. Announcement about your team/company during the race. Your company logo will be displayed on the TV screen during the race. Rider check-in is open between 2-3:45 pm
VIP Access: Host all corporate challenge participants in the exclusive VIP area post race.
Cost: $1000 per team. Team riders will receive official PoCo Grand Prix cycling promo wear.
Payment: An invoice will be sent to the company organization of the team registered. Cheque and credit card payments will be accepted.
Refund Policy: Once a team has registered, it will be their responsibility to source riders to participate on race day. Should a rider from a team not be able to compete who was registered prior to race day, a backup rider may take that rider’s place. Unfortunately, there is no refund policy for a team’s registration.
